Map of Eastman region detailed description.
Community Futures Winnipeg River (CFWR) is an economic development organization serving the North Eastman region of Manitoba. We are a member of Community Futures Manitoba, and are funded mainly by Western Economic Diversification Canada.
CFWR is grassroots driven. We believe in helping communities to help themselves.
CFWR’s goal is to help communities in North Eastman improve their economies. We are here to work with each community on their long-term development plans. We help them pull together the resources to make those plans work. CFWR also offers support to business people in the region.
CFWR has been in operation since 1988. It is run by a volunteer Board of Directors.
